Music Writer's Block

The sounds rise and fall like waves of the sea
And then stop to a halt - what more will there be?
I try and try but nada mas comes out
Where is the well that's run out, does it carry more clout?
I know it's there and yet it's not
Or maybe this road has been too hard-fought
Or perhaps it's time to move on
I'm done with this rhyme, now on to the song.
